High score in campaign mode

I dont know my exact score, but the first three numbers are 1.34 thats the highest ive seen. To get this score I beat the game on vry hard without losing a life, got a pascifist medal, and perfects on the mini games. I seem to have the most trbl with giant DK, what about yall?

I've never beaten Very Hard without losing a life. The fighting polygon team always gets me.

I have gotten No Damage Clear on Very Easy though.

to beat polygon tm with ease, all u gotta do is ledge hang, then tap a when enemy approaches. sumtimes ull kill all 3 with one move, then u can start looking for shadows and hiiting them as they fall from the sky, also spamming grab and down a helps

I got 1.53 million with DK. Very hard mode one stock, pacifist on Fox and pikachu, Yoshi Rainbow, kirby ranks, and a lot of full power+no damage clears is the way to go. I had the most trouble with team fighting polygon- came really close to losing my stock. I think I'll try the ledge-attack thing next time- and I think you get 100,000 for beating them in order, don't you?

I think using Ness vs Polygon team is good, all you gotta do is use the recovery a bit off the ledge where then dont hit you, and attack them with the recovery pointing yourself at the floor.

The best I have ever done, not caring about score is 0% in Hard. In very hard i always get hit by the polygons, Kirby team, or mario bro team.

I've beaten campaign mode 1 life very hard with every character .-. and recorded them.

That was when i was still pretty terrible too. Not to say i'm amazing though, it's just that i'm much better now than i was then.

I've never really tried to go for really high scores though.

the highest score is 2.1million with Samus i guess

there is one more char that is over 2million i dont remember who.
(i highly doubt someone can get that score with SAMUS but with other chars its possible)


my higher is 1.783.xxx with Jigglypuff on very easy without no damage clear, so its easy to see at least 2.2million is possible =0

It was more of a pain, or at least just as much of a pain, to record them all than actually beating it probably. ( I did it on console, so...)

I don't think so, only Yoshi team and Kirby team. I've never done it to check but I've never seen/heard of it.

campaign mode is boring, speacially if you are trying to do a really high scoe, beacuse is not about playing well...its about manipulating and anticipating the stupid cpu...

when i play against the cpu i try not to do that because thats not helpful....i try to do some hard combos to improbe my skills

i have never try to do a high score ore anything like that

When I first started smash64 4 years ago, I wouldn't be able to do Hard mode in p1 mode without being hit at all. I wouldn't be able to do it at the time knowing how unGAME experienced i was. Now, almost 4 years later all of the practice, has left me able to make that possible and be months rusty and still be able to 5 stock any little kaillera smash babies. It does prove somewhat skill, Without the basic use of combos, and tricks you wouldn't be able to do it with some extra stipulations to make it a bit harder.

Success in campaign is correlated with skill, but not as good of an indicator as, you know, actually playing someone else

My highscore is 18 or 16 with samus. On Giant DK yoshi egged him .5 seconds in lol and polygons are tough my success on that is always determined by items. I could beat them without items but i hate it how **** always pops in and blows me up at the most random of times >< I'll be attacking mid air and hit something spawning and it'll blow up and kill me lol
