RULES (stolen from conners thread):
- GENERAL RULES -

* Items are set to off
* The stock is set to 4
* 8:00 Timer
* All sets are best of 3 matches
* With the exception of Winner/Loser/Grand Finals - best of 5 matches
* In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors
* No player may choose the stage they last won on
* Ties will be broken by lives, then percentage. In the event of a percentage tie, one stock sudden death will be played
* The Ice Climber Freeze Glitch is banned even though it's funny.
* Jigglypuff's rising pound stall is banned
* Peach's bomber stall beneath levels where she is unreachable is banned.
* Wobbling is banned

Oh yeah, and there is a decent amount of local high desert kids going to add to the pot a lil bit. Plus the homie Duckmaster is coming out of retirement. We still need a few tvs and a decent amount of cubes though.

the locals like: sony, sergio, bryan, duckmaster, ZOMG MAYBE PAT (yeah right), but random noobs that sick swears to me that are there

then luigi/fabian, hopefully palmdale, myself/sherigami/sixth sense (i'm taking you)

toss in the fact you got eight confirmed TVs + however many other people bring, plus the regulars

you're already talking a tourny with 25+ people and more TVs than a melee tourny has had since brawl came out

that leaves us with time to do crews after too
