hidden controls?

I found out while playing that if you treat the l button, on default setup is grab, like the A button, you can perform up and down smash attacks, as mario. also the leg sweep and his combo.. idk if anything else is possible but does anybody know if this could help strategy.

Grab is technically a Shield+Attack input happening at the same time. That's why Z could be used for the DACUS in Brawl/PM, and is why if you keep holding Grab, you enter your Shield afterward.
