I'm actually new to Smash. I never played Melee before around two weeks ago, and I haven't stopped playing since. I'm starting to main Falco, so I'd love some tips on him. Fortunately for myself, I have all the Smash games and the consoles they are on, so again, I'd love some tips for those games as well. I'm looking to get better at Melee before really trying for Project M and Sm4sh, but if I should do a different order, please do tell me.

Question, how many smash tourneys are in or near San Diego, CA usually? I'm looking to start going to them as spectators and gradually start playing in them.

Also, is Melee or Sm4sh played competitively more often?

That concludes my introduction, I'm looking forward to talking to people on this site and learning the ways of good Falco.

Both Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U are played competitively, albeit the former gets more traction. I could be wrong, given the fact that I'm not so up to date on the competitive scene.

But either way, welcome!
