Hey guys, so I'm moving to MD and...

Hey. I'm moving to MD near the end of December/Early January, right before Pound 4. Thing is though, i'd like to have a local melee partner for pound 4 melee doubles rather than someone OOS mostly because its 1000x easier to train with them. haha. I know this is way in advance, but being early is not always a horrible thing.
Anyone currently is:
1. Attending Pound 4
2. Lives in MD
3. Does not currently have a melee doubles partner for P4.

If you meet this qualifications, post that you want to if your even slightly interested. We'll play and see how our team works out long before the tournament(in case our team does not work out...lol). I may be even making visits up there frequently before I even move.

Besides looking for a partner for Pound 4, i'd like to play with all of you MD smashers before Pound 4. Who normally holds smashfests in MD and how frequently?

Falls Church, VA.......depending where you are moving to in MD you might be close or far. If you move near the beltway 495 you be close to majority of the smash scene of both melee/brawl which is why we are always referred as MD/VA.....Washington D.C. is in the middle but they have like 2 smash players LOL

Seriously? Is there an estimate on when these will start up? And I'm about Tope distance from MD. So that's probably a good 3-4 hour drive... Either way I'll do my best to make those!

MD is a pretty small state right? How long does it take to get from one end of the state to the other?
I'm not exactly sure what part of MD i'm moving to yet. When I find out i'll let you guys know

to get to one end of MD to the other can take up to 7 or 8 hours.

on map its small.....from one end to another....maybe 4-6 hours? depends if you're going from east to west or north to south

Yeah, I had to cancel my next tournament I was hosting. Weird huh.

Also, know when these people say far, they mean 1 hour. They are so spoiled compared to what we had to drive in Florida haha.

Its true we are......anything past 1hour is far for us lol...but then again you guys haven't faced beltway traffic yet

if its anywhere remotely near germantown you will be fairly close to Chus
