I gotta say, this is funny... really funny.
People that believe the 35 roster and Don't like it, or don't believe it and don't like it, post long thought out pieces of why they like it with constructive criticism of the list and how very subtle changes could make it better. They don't ask people to read their opinion (and in one case warn that it's a 12 paragraph opinion and not to read it if you're lazy), and are very open to talk about their opinion, your opinion, and everyones opinion.
People that are just 'accept what you ****ing get, shut up, and drink yer god d*** tea', do not actually offer their opinion of the list point for point, just demand everyone like it. Not all of us that are complaining about the list outright hate it, we just see ways it could be better. We are willing to discuss opinions on it, and say what would be better to make the game better. Because quite frankly, if you don't want us talking about the character list, you should go somewhere that lacks freedom of speech, and where nobody talks about their opinions on anything. As you should probably leave if you don't want to read other people's opinions.
Now, that said, the 35 roster is better than that of Melee. It's a wonderful roster, I'll love the game. I'm saddened at the lack of new females, lack of new franchises, and lack of new respectable villains (I love Dedede, but he ain't a really great villain... fact is HE ISN'T ONE IN SSE as far as I've seen). With 5 more characters (and 1 newcomer not coming) we could of gotten a great game. Swapping out two newcomers for two different new comers could of gotten us a better game. Making Ganondorf not a Luigi of Falcon could of gotten us a better game. I'm still going to love it, I'm still going to buy it, I'm still going to not sleep for 2-3 days unlocking things, but I'd be more psyched about it with a few things different.
