Smash Lord
I figured I'd follow the forum suggestion of introducing myself, just for fun. So here goes:
Who do you main in your Smash game(s) of choice? Why?
- Melee: Marth. He's quick, from Fire Emblem, has amazing combos, and is, in my opinion, a great all-around character with the ability to cover his weaknesses without too much trouble. Also, the counter ability is amazingly useful.
- Brawl: Toon Link. As with Marth, he's extremely quick. Also, the ability tospam use a lot of projectile attacks to hold foes at bay and rack up damage is nice. I'm also in love with the second swing on his side smash attack. It has come as a nasty surprise to many.
- Wii U: Ike. Anybody who has played Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn can appreciate why I use him. Also, his moveset is extremely versatile, and his quick one-two punch move for clutch situations is great.
Why have you joined Smashboards? How did you hear about the site?
I joined Smashboards because I really wanna keep up with tourneys near me and grow as much as possible. I honestly just found the website. Must be that awesome :D
Do you attend tournaments? Do you want to?
I have participated in one tournament so far. Placed 4th overall using my Ike and seconding Toon Link. Props to the ROB-user that beat me!
Talk about your interests outside of Smash Bros.! Anime, sports, other games, etc.
I'm allowed to have interests outside Smash Bros? Wow... Just kidding. I'm completely in love with the Fire Emblem and LoZ. Just great series all around, and I just really enjoy seeing what the developers come up with for each new game. However, I am a bit tentative with LoZ. Skyward Sword was a disappointment imo, so hopefully the next real Zelda game will redeem them. Far as anime goes, Bleach is great, as are the first two seasons of Pokemon (another game series I enjoy).
What other communities are you a part of? Clubs at school, other forums?
Really, the only other community I'm a part of is Serenes Forest, but I'm not too active over there. I tend to do my own thing when it comes to FE.
