i am going to be playing falco for a while

falcos these days are a whole new breed, they are unstoppable! just look at shiz!!

so it's inpsired me to play him more.

After watching, you got to change gears when he starts to get aggressive. JC shine out of shield is really good against Doc too, and learn your CC game. Good technical, good platform stuff but I think you need to find better places to apply it.

You'll improve a lot with time, just focus on finding out things that work really well and mastering your low% combo game because that's where Falco really has the edge on alot of characters.

being more serious.. try watching your opponent better. Falco can become predictable pretty easily against Doc.

Against Doc try to laser him more and take advantage of him. Just make sure you don't get grabbed. Good ways not to get grabbed is always space and make sure you always L-cancel right. And what I saw your falco mainly doing is racking up damage instead of comboing. You should try to get in more combos instead of just racking up damage with aerials. Either is good, but combos can be harder to escape. And aerials can get predictable and easy to avoid. And try to use platform movement when its needed. I saw lots of unnecessary platform movement that didn't bennefit you much. Because you can get punished or knocked out of a jump if your messing around with platforms.


But good work. Just keep practicing.

and i wasn't johnning, that was homemadewaffles saying "that's the first time i've beaten andre (me) in a tournament set!" or something of that nature. he's a great doc now, tough to handle

When doc is about to upb almost sweetspoting the edge, you can lightshield edguard him. Just Roll and before your roll finishes hold Z+A, the last punch will connect and make you fall and grab the edge instantly (edgehoging him). Don't do it if doc isn't going to sweetspot because you'll eat all of the upb's hits and you'll fall off the stage (if you're enough fast you can get on to the stage with a dair before he recovers of the awful lag after his upb)

Good falco overall, you may wan to try grabs to f-throw after jabs (dair>jab) instead of nair/dair just to mix it up. Also try grabbing after lasers instead of dairs (or jab>grab).
