help with sneasel

i wanna get a sneasel that learns ice punch but can only learn it as an egg move.

is there a way for him to learn it? i know you have to breed it and make sure that the sneasel is a female but does the male have to learn ice punch.

i cant migrate pokemon yt since i have 7 badges

is ice punch worth getting or is ice shard enough as an ice physical

Get a male Smeargle. Sketch Ice Punch. Now breed him with Sneasel until you get a male so you can use your male sneasel for breeding Ice Punch. Also Ice Punch is almost always better than Ice Shard because Weavile has outstanding speed already so he usually goes first.

Yep. That's how ya do it.

Ice Shard can go over Ice punch if you fear DDers or Salac Flail/Reversal sweeps, and it CAN do some damage thanks to STAB and Weavile's high attack. But, like n3ther said, Weavile can already outspeed a lot of things and Ice Punch is stronger.
