help with sidegaurding

ive been tryin to work on my uairs fairs and bairs off the edge, but every other time i go for it i end up sding, any advice?

if you're talking about ledgehopping then practice rolling the stick from backward (i.e. left if you're on a ledge facing right, vice versa) to up quickly while flicking the c-stick right after the control stick is pointing upward

if your talking about your opponet being off edge and you want to finish them out there.
Dash toward the edge and short hop to finish with a knee or U-air.
or just stand by edge and Bair edge guard
or stand by edge and Dair edge guard
OR edge hog and jump back and Bair
ORRReiojfen Edge hog and make them get onto the stage and Reverse Knee them to knock them bavkwards

Just learn when the attack animations end in the air so you know when to jump.
