Hi guys, i want to make a combo video using my new adobe premiere pro 2 program, and i was wondering if anyone here knows how to remove the background to a title image of a jpeg. I really want to use the 'glow' effect of this title, but it only works in jpeg, where there is a big fat black rectangle that i dont want behind the words. I can remove it in .png, but the glow of the words dies.

If anyone can edit for me or tell me how to edit it, please do so

edit: figured this out Clip for credits is what i need now

ALSO, how do i make a clip for the credits ._. (I'm a nub)

edit: My friend just told me jpeg can never be transparent ._.
Is there a way i can replicate the effect without the stupid black box in premiere somehow? and plz explain in detail
