Help with my yellow mouse

Im fairly new to the forums and I wanted to know how I could upgrade my pika, mostly because I can't sweetspot the edges with quick attack yet. Would learning to do so help my game or am I better off without it. Please reply.

Welcome to to the world of pika :D.

Learning everything possible helps. But learning to sweetspot is flashy and cool ... but even more importantly it's useful. The more things you can pull off and do well, the more options you have while fighting. Sweet spotting is good to learn, but the most important things to learn first with Pika and every other character in the game is to be able to consistently L-cancel, shffl, and wavedash... and you can find out all that stuff in Melee Discussion.

L-canceling I know how to do along with wavedashing, it's the shffl-ING I have trouble with. Thanx for the advice though.
