Help with Marth matchup

Hey all. So pretty much, my buddy and I play PM pretty regilarly. His main is marth and sometimes falco, I almost exclusively play ivy. Having said that, I find the match up against marth particularly troublesome. The biggest issues seem to be getting in close to punish and getting back on stage. I was wondering if you all had any tips or tricks that could maybe help me out? Any and all advice on ivy is welcome! This thread has been immensely helpful and I'm hoping to keep the trend going!

Marth is one of Ivys worst MUs my success has been in baiting marth with wavedash back and just floating outside his range then once he whiffs I go full rushdown but im sure there are other easier ways like just picking up a secondary to deal with him.

Are there particular ways you approach him? That has been another issue I have because of his ridiculous grab range.

You never approach Marth. Camp him to death with Bullet Seeds and Back Airs. Or as I like to call the Poison Salad Special. And be sure to gimp as hard as possible, you know you've done right when it takes Marth 100% just to try and get in only to die at 80% because up smash
