Help with 4 Player Tournaments

So I'm attending a tournament next week in which we're playing Project M, but here's the catch: 1 stock, 4 player match.
When I heard about this, I was furious, I almost yelled at the organizer because Project M really isn't a 4 player type of game (well, at least when we're doing it on Final Destination (which we are)). I'm really not amazing at Project M, sometimes I do an aerial and my secondary jump randomly goes away and I fall to my death. And I really don't know any character that would be good against 4 players, so I was wondering, what character would be good for this type of match? Thanks!

No tourney that runs a free-for-all format is worth attending. Literally no significant tournament organizers use that format. You're better off spending your time and energy going to a real tourney.
