help vs. Samus

Hey i was playing a friend of mine yesterday and for some reason i had a lot of trouble landing any moves on him. i would try to set him up with a combo by dwn throwing him but he jumps away before i can hit him. and for some reason his Fair is killing me. it beets my Fair, my Uair and my Nair. hes also so floaty i have trouble timing him, especialy when using the little bombs he drops. oh and also his dwn smash is killing me i think im out of its range but some how i still get hit

but what happens when he jumps up then does his little drop bombs...i can get to him without hitting them, and again his Fair is realy strong what do i do against that?

Space a fair on her, shield, wavedash out of shield after they down smash, then either grab or down smash samus (usually grab). Needle camp from afar. Fair camping is good too.

what should i do when he jumps at me with his Fair...i try to spot dodge but i only dodge the first half
would it be better to try an WD back? also when i do that i almost feel like i can move out of a WD quick enough.

The on ly good samus i play with missile spams and dash attacks a lot. to avoid missile spam, just powershield a lot, and to avoid dash attack, just shieldgrab, down throw then uair or fair ^^

Samus edgeguard is easy... just needle spam to explode her bombs and nair her when she wants to recover ^^

your not the only one having trouble with samus i am too her missiles are annoying but if your WD skills are good enough u can wave dash forward and it goes completely under her missiles and that'll help u close the gap also a jab or a ftilt A does the same also it blows them up but u also might wanna try the needle cancel grab it works good enough if u are close enough to her unfortunately the B**** has no lag at all it seems i can never set up a combo she always N-Airs out of it which is annoying as hell but as for keeping her off the platform its easy but gettin her off is the pain I NEED HELP BADLY someone's advice would be helpful thank you

if you dthrow smaus you should be gauranteed a fair, bair, nair, or uair. i had a lot of trouble against samus's recently because i always tried to land aerials on them. i would stray from this strategy in place of the grab to dthrow, directly into an aerial, rinse and repeat. seriously, you just have to keep grabbing, and the higher percentages he gets to, the more you slap him before you dthrow...peace
