Basically, I have no idea what to do in the match-up. Generally I try to camp and sneak in a uair for kills, but it really doesn't seem to work. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Be really patient, because puff is safer than sheik (her bair and mobility in the air) and can punish mistakes harder (rest).

However, bair out ranges puff, ftilt can cut through a lot of her options and you are the one with a projectile.

Camp with bairs and any time you see them in range (and unable to get out in time) a ftilt or dtilt to fair is pretty solid. It might sound odd, but you want to keep her in the air. Although jiggs can dominate with her air game, she needs to do it on her terms, and is light enough that if you force her there without many jumps, she can die quickly.

Generally, stick to the middle of the stage, because she is far more likely to kill you through and edge guard (or force an upB onto stage and rest it) than you are to her.

However, you can actually edge guard decently so long as you don't over extend. If they are going low, a ledge hop bair with invincibility will do wonders, and if they are going high, a turn around double jump bair can also help.

Personally, the hardest part about this matchup was not running straight into jiggs' bair. Try to be conscientious about whether or not you're getting baited. This also applies for edgeguarding: if you get caught by a forward-b off-stage, that can be bad news. Generally, wait for opportunities, don't try to create them.

Don't attempt grabs on her duck; that's stupid. You honestly can't challenge her duck that effectively. It is recommended that when she ducks in front of you, you move away from her and wait until she's ready to stop trolling you. Charging needles is good because if she continues to do it, unloading a set of them on her is not really bad.

After 30 or so, down smash becomes an option too. Beware of her changing her mind and shielding, though. This is of course countered by you grabbing, but remember to space your grab. Walk and do it from as far away from Puff as you can if you're going to attempt it on her shield; max-ranging your grab will be what prevents stuff like sidestep > Rest from working.

I tend to hang out just outside her grab range in this matchup, and do a lot of crouch / WD back in that position (and shield > WD back). Other than F-smash and dash attack, nothing she does from that position can reach you immediately. Rising aerials get ducked and can be punished from there (except SH Nair and Fair, but WD back > move counters that). Grabs whiff. If you WD back on an F-smash or dash attack (or block them) you can get a free hit. It's a somewhat annoying position for her to approach directly. This is for facing forward, btw.

The other significant range I use is being just over my Bair's length away and crouching / moving away. If her back is turned to you, crouch prevents her rising Bair from hitting. Falling Bairs can be reacted and spaced away from accordingly, or blocked. You can also jump over her Bair and fall on her with your own aerial, if she's doing SHs. Her Fair and Nair can also be outspaced with fair consistency in this position.

SH rising Bair is often an MVP when she's above you and trying to get back down.

Just give her that open palm smack and keep her in line. Dont approach, let her waddle on over to you. Also when your in that awkward spot where you are in shield and puff is crouching saying, "PLEASE GRAB" just upsmash oos, which is actually the absolute best in the match up anyway if the puff thinks she can just get all up in your grill without any consequences.
