I'm making this thread for the purpose of those who seek advice for when they're stuck in any particular segment in a Zelda game. If you have trouble at any part in any game, post here, and hopefully somebody can help!

There are, but as a community, we're here to give one-to-one advice. It's like using an online translator. It will never come close in accuracy to someone who can personally translate what you need. Plus, this thread can serve as a means of bringing the SWF Zelda community closer together as we help one another out. As linear as some of the Zelda games can be (except LoZ on the NES, because it wins the award for the most nonlinear game of all time), there are different approaches to combat, puzzles, and progressing through the game. We may want to share such strategies to those curious.I hate attributing spam (if this qualifies) and I don't want to sound rude, but...
Aren't there numerous online walkthroughs and cheat codes to look up already?
Even though it seems like it might clutter this subforum just a little, I wouldn't mind it. I don't know about the others, though.I noticed this hasn't been done yet, but I had assumed there would be a thread for each game, or sometimes a game and its sequel, and a thread for each main character and finally a timeline thread. The individual game threads would include everything from character discussion specific to THAT game, to discussion about the dungeons, how to beat and play the game, questions or theories about the story, etc...
Would you guys mind if I set that up?
I think you need to pick up the statue and then go through the door. You should have already done that earlier in the dungeon...Clownbot said:In the center room of the second floor of WW's Tower of the Gods. When I go through the left door and cross over the huge gap with the grappling hook, how do I get something onto that switch so that the door on the other side of the room will stay open? I know it has something to do with the statue in the next room (I already have the Command Melody), but I can't figure out how to get it through the door.
You're thinking of a different part of the dungeon, I think.I think you need to pick up the statue and then go through the door. You should have already done that earlier in the dungeon...![]()
THan I WAS right at first...You're thinking of a different part of the dungeon, I think.
In this room, I need to play the Command Melody, because there's a gap between me and the statue, and a switch on the statue's side. When I get him to step on the switch, a bridge appears in the gap, but when I pick him up to move across, it disappears because nothing's on the switch.![]()
Leave him near the door.He can't go through the door, though. And even if he could, it wouldn't matter, because I would have to get through eventually, and I'd trap myself if I stood in there alone.
