Hey guys, need some help here,
I made a backup brawl for my friend like 3 months ago that comes with the Brawl+ codeset, he wanted me to update it to the latest version of B+ but as you know that the current B+ codeset uses the updated Gecko OS that supports more than ??? number of lines.

So anyway, my friend uses a Backup Launcher (wont go much detail into that) and he asked me to make the dual .GCT method. I actually just downloaded the two GCTs in the Nightly Builds before. When I tried to make my own, it simply wouldn't work.

I know where to place the 2 files although it seems like it just freezes at "SD Codes found now loading..." or even freezes as a "black screen"

So maybe if anyone here can teach me on how to make it (or maybe make it for me)

( and YES I used the search bar <_<;; )

Pretty sure you don't need that method anymore, since most of the data is stored in .pac files now, you really just need one gct with the physic mods and dataswap code, and make sure you have the .pacs in the right place.

Why not use the snapshot method? Most people are using that nowadays. (I don't have the link offhand)

If you're willing to wait a few weeks (or a month, idk when), there's a backup launcher coming out that'll support Brawl+ on USB.

You need an old Gecko OS for the double gct.
Yeah I got that, plus maybe if the double .gct method doesnt work, could anyone tell teach or just make the .bin file for the snapshot method (BTW, does snapshot method require me to make a code on ocarina? )

Oh I think I'll be applying the Brawl+ Channel while at it ;) (hopefully that'll work out too)

Put RSBE01.gct with the file replacement and snapshot hack codes in the codes folder in the root directory of your sd card.

Convert a .gct file with the brawl plusery codeset into a .bin file with brawl+ tweaker and rename it "al_<name>.bin" (replace <name> with whatever you want ex al_brawl+.bin).

Dont forget to activate cheats on ocarina

kay, I'm trying the snapshot loader on his wii tomorrow
So I switched to Snapshot loader cuz it seems way easier,

(BTW, If it automatically loads everytime without having to go back to the album, is there somekind of ON/OFF method with this? )

Install cIOScorp v3.3. It makes games loadable through disc channel, thus even the new Gecko OS will be able to read the disc with no problem. As for installation and such, you'll have to figure that out yourself.

Woah woah woah, I'd rather not download something that screws with the Wii internally =\
