Can somebody please tell me how to dash with a wii-mote (no nun-chuk)

also, do any advanced players play with something other than a gamecube controller?

Yea press side twice really quick, although I'm sure you can dash by just pressing side once.

Is it possible to short hop with just the side Wii mote?

I know a good player (not pro) who uses Wii-mote only, but you will be unable to do most AT's consistently, especially when using Shake Smash. I think SH is possible, just press quick and light.
