Hey i'm fairly new to smash, mainly have played against level 1 computers. Any advice and/or Constructive criticism would be really helpful thanks. Me(green falco) and My opponent was SD(blue falco).

I have trouble with my tech skill vs lasers i end up doing ******** stuff because of how much pressure from my opponent there is.

For being fairly new at smash and only playing level 1 cpu's you're pretty **** good. If I were to spot one flaw, it would be your predictability and mindgames (or lack thereof.) It's a very common problem, and really the only way to counter it is by thinking more. That sounds silly, but it's true, often one finds themselves just pressing buttons according to what their opponent is doing, but if you try to think like you might in chess a cause and effect maneuver or a fake out, or just something your opponent wouldnt expect can really throw a wrench in his gears, so I guess I would try to be more cognizant when you're playing, sooner or later it will be second nature and voila, you've upped your game.

Technically speaking you look pretty solid, I wouldn't worry about that too much. Also, if what you say is true about the CPU's, you have a gift, keep at it.

thanks. I red that over a few times for it to sink in and it's actually really good advice i agree with you about thinking more, i guess i just need more practice against REAL people. Because against cpus you generally don't think one bit and just end up playing like a bot yourself. I went to a tournet yesterday and came back and posted those vids which were from few weeks back. I also find myself against opponents my level that have bad habbits like spot dodging way nearly all the time in there approach. But i try and punish it with a forward or down smash and its like only half the smash stregnth ends up been excucted. Sometimes i can pick what my opponent is going to do and say wow they're so predictable they keep doing that but i find it hard to punish.

That's probably crouch canceling
I would suggest that when they spotdodge you should punish it with a combo unless they're like 90%

If you're ever in Ontario, Canada we should play as I am new to Smash as well, all I got around here are LV 9 CPU's...no one around me plays and I can't get any better without anyone to play :(

yeah i guess i didn't think about crouch cancelling.i was playing a sheik the other day that was spot dodging nearly always in his approach. And i could never start a combo from how quickly she was sheilding after spot dodging

Well, learn the timing if that's the problem. They aren't invincible for the whole spotdodge animation. If you know it's coming you can shffl a dair.. otherwise you can probably shine on reaction.

i know what you mean playing computers just doesn't do anything. Unfortunately i live in australia so yeah its a bit further away from you than a little stroll

@'DNS' i'm working on my timing but it's really hard to vs computers since they don't spot dodge or sheild : /. Thanks for advice though. Anymore advice on the two vids would be great
