Help my Falco please

I've recently started using Falco and I'd really like some help. Here's a video I have of me against a friend.

Please comment. I know I'm awful but we have to start somewhere, right?

NB: Dont bother mentioning my constant rolling and awful SHL, I know I need to work on them.

Here'r a few comments:
-try to up-down. (shine>dair>repeat)
-try to jc grabs
-sometimes Full hop tripple laser on corneria
-jump out of shines
-DON'T PLAY IN WIDESCREEN (set your TV to "full"/ whatever it might be called on your tv to play w/ gray bars on the sides)
-Use google video/ youtube.
-FAST FALL MOST AERIALS.

Okay, thanks. I avoided youtube though since it would have completely killed off the quality. I might try Google next time though.
I'm pretty sure I can do most of that, though I often mess up jc grabs. I'll practice them for a while.

google video has the same quality as youtube, 320x240 which is really standard for the internet. If it's captured from a camera, it's not that great of quality anyway... try using a vcr. And seriously, Widescreen+smash=no good. (marth doesn't need any more range).

if i use a vcr to record matches, is there any way i can get that on the computer without spending very much?

can your camera capture from a vcr? i guess i just figured you had a capture card anyway. well, capture devices can be found for around $40. So, depends on how much you want to spend to get quality recordings: nothing = bad quality w/ camera, $40 = good quality w/ capture device. Check the videography thread for more details.

well i think u got the very basics down, and i see u using shl, just practice shling, pillaring, and do areial down a>down up, and u can do basically ne aerial atack after. o yes this thing is very useful, jab cancel, its like cf u stun the person and do another atack, simple but effective.

Yes, you played pretty good for a person who has started playing as Falco. Try watching some of Wak's advanced tech. vids on YouTube, and look up "Falco tutorials" for better info. on him.
