Thats not playing defensive, thats mindgames.Pretty much any defensive tactics work with MK, if strung together properly. Just experiment with things like Pivot Grabbing, and the Dimensional Cape. You could even run away from them, RAR, and then use the fair as they come at you. Be creative, come up with something.
Using mindgames defensively is still playing defensively. Putting pressure on the opponent is offensive. It forces the opponent to play defensively. Useful, no doubt. But not defense.Thats not playing defensive, thats mindgames.
The defensive aspect of MK's game is spacing, which is key to doing well with him. Pressure your opponent while keeping your spacing with F-airs and tilts; you should be fine.
When I said "Pressure your opponent while keeping your spacing with F-airs and tilts," I was referring to MK's offensive AND defensive game.Putting pressure on the opponent is offensive. It forces the opponent to play defensively. Useful, no doubt. But not defense.
I agree with that, and I want to say something else:MK's defensive game is good spacing. It's not complicated.
Thanks....since he has no projectiles his range is everything he's got on the defensive side.
but on the other hand I don't think you should ever only play defensively, cause if they start feeling secure knowing that you are playing defensively they will put even more pressure on you, so you should switch it up during the match.
I think this match is good to see how to play MK defensively
