Help!!! Laptop disconnects my computer from my network

I have a vista pc wired up to my router and a xp pc thats hooked up wirelessly. Whenever i connect my vista laptop to our network is disconnects both computers that are connected to the router. I have no clue why it does that. Any help would be appreciated.

If it disconnects both, I'd say it's the router that needs replacing.

Thanks guys for your help. It ended up fixing itself after restarting all the computers and the router
