No, use your main. Mario can be killed twice easily by throwing him off the edge and footstooling him (takes a bit of practice but is easily doable). When you see an item, grab it and throw it away (unless it's one the you automatically use upon grabbing, in which case, attack!). When, Mario's gone, just ignore Snake and easily take out Sonic as if it were a 1 vs. 1 match. When Sonic's gone, concentrate on knocking Snake off the edge repeatedly. Eventually, his damage will be high enough so that he'll get knocked far enough off the edge that even with his cypher the best he can do is grab the ledge. When he reachs this point, knock him off the edge again and immediately run to the edge. When he uses his cypher to recover, stand right near the edge and grab him before he touches the ground/grabs the ledge. Don't attack him at all or throw him. Let him break free and he will fall to his doom (he can't double jump/cypher). Rinse and repeat and congrats you've won! I hope I've helped.
