I need help...I don't get much real player experience, but I wanna step it up. My combos are a little better since these vids but I think I have some real bad habits/mistakes.

vs samus

here's one I don't lose lol
vs falcon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-2n-ssYc_Y&feature=related

unfortunately at this time I don't have vids vs other chars..the first two matchups are especially foreign to me so advice with those, and just general advice would be appreciated :D

i'm super sleepy so i'm not watching much, but from parts of your jiggs matches, here's what i get: you should stop thinking you will ever be able to force anything to happen. sit under a platform and laser until he gets close enough where you can bair. anything besides that that comes about will be because of a read on his patterns. you were running back and forth and under him and such and it's just not safe.

on the other hand, when you get in and land a dair, go all out. i saw you land a dair and then run back and laser. don't do that. dair combos into more dairs, or grabs or utilts or shines. all of these things add damage and allow you to continue.

i uh... might comment on the other videos tomorrow or something if i'm awake. hope that helps.

edit: a note on where i'm coming from: i was playing my friend's jiggs on dreamland today and i lasered him up to over 200% before i found an opening i was comfortable with to land a nair on him and kill him. i am all about patience in this matchup.

@ruhtraeel: thanks man, my falcos already looking a lot smoother/comboing better since these too...I just haven't been able to work too much on a lot of mental aspects cause I either practice with a computer, or my one other friend that plays...I'm going to the other hawaiian Island where all the good players are at tomorrow, so I wanna post more footage for some tips :D

@foxlisk: Thank you, I will stop that thought right now. you mentioned camping under platforms...so do you think battlefield/dreamland are good stages vs jiggs? I'm slightly weary of yoshis story, but I know you can get some cheap shine kills/earlier bair kills there, but jiggs can also knock you off a lot easier though...fountain is kinda weird for lasers, but I love it as a combo stage...what you think vs jiggs?

I will def throw out more stuff after I get a good hit in! This is my first time playing VS a jiggs main and I really don't have a grasp on spacing safely vs her.

patience is key...I have been working on being more patient in general, I think I could get a lot better with just a little more.

Yes you helped a lot, I will try and apply it little by little...I have a week of smash ahead of me :D. More advice would be brilliant if you think of something, or if I post some more stuff.
thank you

i think stadium is the best stage for falco vs jiggs. a lot of people (including, notably, Dr. PP) think yoshi's is the best, though. but basically you're gonna die at around the same percent anywhere, so picking stages where she dies early is good. if you're super uncomfortable on yoshi's, don't pick it, obviously. i think battlefield is perfectly good vs jiggs, i don't mind dreamland but agreeing to play jigglypuff on dreamland is resigning yourself to a very long, campy match. for some reason my friends and i always forget to put fountain on random, but i think that's definitely a bad choice. the platforms are difficult to use, the ceiling is high, the stage itself is relatively small... it's just not good imo.

i also actually like FD vs jiggs. you can't platform camp, but there's no uthrow -> techchase on platforms, and her approaches are more telegraphed. that's just my opinion, though. i think a lot of players dislike it.

and you're welcome, glad this helped.

i watched the falco vs cf one and my advice is keep the combos going longer, its falco vs falcon on fd. you almost always go straight into a shine bair and you could easily make the combo longer and mabey kill him off of it, but its was still pretty good

@foxlisk: oo thanks for the stage advice. Pokemon will be great to try out. Ill try the no fear approach to yoshi's too, I think Im just thinking a little too much about consequence :p. I don't mind being campy/patient at dreamland..not in tournament/MM at least. I really like fountain, but prolly more vs fastfallers. I agree with FD, the Uthrow tech chase thing bothers me, getting rested on a platform cause you di upthrow is not fun LOL. I think I do like FD vs her, so Ill try it again too...not bad to feel comfortable with it at least

@GL: yeah, I got a little too excited :p. I've been working on extending/hopefully FINISHING my combos or at least setting up an edgeguard more. Its hard! Def gotta work on my move choice in the middle sectons of the combo.
