Y'all's save data is corrupt. If you want it fixed you will have to delete your brawl save data... That or open the save data you have somehow and edit it... Though that might cause more corruptions if you dont know what you are doing....

^what he said. probably corrupted save data. Just delete it and you should be good. if you're playing Project M this isn't an issue, as all the characters are automatically unlocked.

Actually, there's a more common solution that doesn't involve wiping data.
I'll go fetch it before you do something stupid.

Code:
Battlefield My Music Reset :
4A000000 9017EBCC
14000000 000026FC
14000004 00000032
14000008 000027EE
1400000C 00000032
14000010 00002711
14000014 00000032
14000018 00002813
1400001C 00000032
14000020 00002815
14000024 00000032
E0000000 80008000
Create a codeset with this code in it and run the game. It'll reset the BF music and function as normal.
Once it's functioning correctly, remove the code and play the game as normally.

You can probably use gctedit. I dont have my laptop so i can't help on specifics, but you can get gctedit off of brawl vault (i think) and the code file is called RSBE01.gct... Thats all i can tell you for now.

The newest brawlbox has a built in code manager.
There's also Code Manager
