hey people! here iz a strategy that works on anybody. take any weapon, hurt your enemy and throw them off the side of the arena and if it looks like they mite make it back cuz they can fly or sumthing, start running with your char and throw the weapon. it should make a clean K.O. it worked for me on bowser in adventure mode!
