Hello everyone! I've been a lurker of this site for quite some time (primarily during the days of Smash for Wii U and 3DS), but have played the series since 64. Smash has always been a magical experience for me, introducing me to new games throughout the years within both Nintendo and the various third-parties that have been a part of Smash. As such, Smash Bros is my favorite of all the crossover games I've experienced, and is something I will always cherish.
My favorite characters to play as in Smash are usually those who are not as straightforward, like
, , , , and , though I do have plenty that I cycled between in each game. , , and are definite contenders for new mains in Ultimate, but I am excited to try out each character to see how they play (one of my favorite parts of a new Smash game).
Outside of Smash, I am an avid fan of many RPGs, Platformers and Fighting games, among other genres. I do dabble in a little bit of everything though, as I have been a lifelong gamer since the SNES and Sega Genesis (though I did play the NES as well). Nintendo (for first party) and Sony (for third party) consoles are the primary ones I play on nowadays, but I have dabbled in PC and Xbox gaming as well.
As far as other interests go, I really love listening to game soundtracks (I thank the SNES and Genesis for that lol) along with drawing on occasion (usually will only draw when the urge kicks in).
With Smash Ultimate on the horizon, I figured now would be a good time to try and hop on the hype train before release! I've never been part of a community of like-minded Smash folks before, and I hope to be here for years to come. I look forward to all the pre-release discussions that will be had here, and hope to have some matches with you guys once the game launches!
