Hey guys, I didn't really get if I should post on the sticky or not but I'm new to smashboards and the overall competitive fighting game community. I played lots of pc games online on a very competitive level previously so I'm down with learning new stuff and meeting new people. I'm currently at an odd place in my skill level where I can destroy all lvl 8 and 9 bots and all of my IRL friends, but I get CRUSHED online. I'm really looking for people that don't mind skype, teamspeak, or ventrilo with me or using the **** Wii U chat to help me progress as a player and spar with regularly. I really appreciate anyone's input on this post and definitely in game. My Nintendo ID is Sharky92 (I know it's gay but my gamertag is always Wtfshark and Nintendo deemed that inappropriate) if you have any issues adding me please just leave me your name and I'll figure it out.
TL;DR: I'm new and looking for people to play with (or a mentor/coach). NNID Sharky92.

Hello and welcome to the Smashboards!
Level 9 CPUs aren't a very good way to gauge anyone's skill, you should probably try training with anything else. Have you tried Anther's Ladder?

Thank you for the advice, I have no idea what Anthers Ladder is though.
It's a place a lot of players of Smash Brothers hang around to talk about the game and play. It has options for all of the games, and it's far better than For Glory, no doubt. People usually are pretty skilled, there.

Well like I said I suck tremendously online lol. I'm just trying to find a way to get better without being a punching bag all night pulling my hair out. Hopefully I can find some people closer to my skill level there so I can progress.
