Headset... TODAYS update (smash)

With the update this morning (or last night)
brawl truly is going to be an amazing game... with being able to bet and watch say PRO matches it adds a whole new twist to the tournament aspect of the game...


anyways aside from that why not will a headset not work with brAWL IT WOULD BE PERFECT.. and already mentioned for the possible headset could be the feature to turn chat on or off... off being that no one chats...

so yea

and wahts with the game being sent to nintendo from a spectators view?

Nintendo wants to spy on us to see how the gameplay develops. That could mean they plan on making changes to the gameplay based on our performance...

...or it could be something totally different.

I don't see what this has to do with a headset. There's no reason for there not to be one, but the text taunts seem to act as evidence against it.

Lots of online multiplayer games have spectator modes. This wasn't exactly a stealth megaton, but it's nice to see that Sakurai's spiced things up with betting. And what was that bit about unique prizes?

Match selection is handled automatically, and absolutely no names of any players can be seen.

I dont think we will be able to actively watch pro matches.... They seemed to have stayed on the side of extreme caution with not letting users see anything about who they play or watch unless the two exchange friend codes. I can see where they are coming from, but on a service like this, and for us, that is kind of a shame. I really hope they enable a way for people to choose the matches they watch somehow. If we could see pro matches streamed in like that, it would be so amazing. and you can bet on the players!!

- The spectator matches appear to be random, so there's only an off-chance we'll get a "pro" match.

- ...They kinda need to MAKE a Wii headset first! Yes, it'd be great with Brawl, but the product has to be made before we can even speculate.
