Haywire Barrels

I didn't feel like looking if this subject was discussed sooooo. Yea I don't know how much this happens but I've been a couple matches were I've been gimped when my barrels are hit outside the stage and they end up hittting my opponent. Note that when the barrels hit our opponent it won us the match. Do these barrels have a mind of their own to save us? Or is it just luck? Well thank someone for giving diddy barrels lol. I'm also really interested on when haywire barrles can kill (I think I will investigate this more).

I meant like outside the stage, I use barrel cancel when my bananas are used against me. I also posted this to show people that gimping diddy when hies is recovering with barrels could be a bad idea.

it is basically luck, the barrels go in a random direction after you're hit, they're not the most reliable counter in the game by far.
