Having trouble with SHFFLing...

Hi everyone, this is my first post and I just want to say CF FTW! But honestly, I'm really having trouble getting SHFFLing down. Every time I try to L-cancel and move on to my next attack to set up a combo, I end up roll dodging. What does this mean? I'm doing it too fast or too slow?

It could be that you're not L-canceling at the right time or holding down L for too long making you roll.

Just practice the individual parts first, just get short hopping down, then the fastfallin part, then play around with l cancelling on all sorts of moves and setups. Learn the fundamentals then combine them into the SHFFL
