I'd say that they made a great decision since Namco Bandai is experienced when it comes to making fighting games. Soul Calibur, Tekken, and Naruto Ultimate Ninja is proof of that.

COME TO THINK OF IT, Didn't Sakurai say the whole reason he announced Sm4sh so early was because he wanted to gain more workers for the project? Maybe Namco were the best ones that answered the call.

Namco Bandai is the smartest choice honestly. Capcom and SNK don't have near the reputation Namco does in Japan.

More like how American players only play a handful of games on a large scale. This is the case even in my area. People are all Apology Edition and Marvel with them being trendy with every other fighter. Tekken Tag 2 MIGHT change that.

No word one way or the other thanks to years of practice dodging questions. Something to the effect of "Sonic and Snake were a great way to broaden the game's spectrum, but we can't go will-nilly with outside characters."

Closest I got to an arcade is the Snow Bros. machine set up in the corner of the mexican deli. Its really wierd too cause I remember 10 years ago there were like 2 arcades in town. Marvel Vs Capcom 2, Tekken, some obscure Megaman fighting game, the Simpson's Arcade game, Galaga, Ms. PacMan.

EDIT: The Snow Bros. Machine is bust. No sight of quarter eating games anywhere. Rumor is that there's a secret underground arcade near the college.

Anyway glad there's some kinda news SM4SH related. Can we get some wild speculation up in here? What did he mean by having a close relationship with Sakurai behind the scenes? Are they secretly gay lovers? Is Namco holding Sakurai at gunpoint until nintendo gives into their demands?
