Dammit there's like 5 threads about the stage building thing. It's getting very tedious reading all these and the fact they are very similar.

Exactly, which is why I just posted in this one, cause it's the closest one to the idea I have. (The post right before yours.) But yeah, annoying isn't it?

Every major region can create/vote on a basically neutral (or counter) stage, and add it to the official tournament legal roster of stages. This way we could add up to 9 or so stages that everyone plays and can practice on equally. (5 from the U.S.A. and 1 from each of the following; Australia, Canada, Europe, and Central and South America. I guess 1 from Japan too, if they feel they can lower themselves enough to join the worldwide community. ((I kid, it's just a language barrier.)) )
It's a pretty cool idea, but the problem is that Canada, Europe, Australia, ect. could have some major problems choosing one stage. Canada has at least 3 distinct major communities...it kind of ruins the whole flavour aspect of the idea.

^^^ Hmm... I suppose you're right. It's just usually when there are huge tournaments, Canada is, if I'm not mistaken, usually represented as one region. I know it is very spread out, but there aren't a huge number of players comparatively. Maybe Canada can have it's own 3, and maybe have 1 separate one for U.S./other tournaments, or choose 1 of the 3 when playing outside of Canada. Each region in Canada, while playing other Canadians, will play the local stage. Eh, point is, we can do this however it works best.
