Hi,

I was thinking about making and selling polymer clay key chains of the smash bros cast doing their special moves. Would you buy that? How much would you pay for it? I would make many of them, like a collectible series.

Sounds like an awesome idea

Could you post something you've made in the past?
The last time I worked with clay was a few years ago. So I don't have anything...I do plan to do this, actually. Once I have some keychains up on Etsy.com, God willing, I'll share it with the board. Thanks for being interested.

I had thought of that, and then placing the figures on circular stands (like the trophies in the game) but then they'd be similar to the Amiboo figures. Have you thought of that?

When I have something, I'll post it to this post or on another topic.

I noticed you made another topic and it got locked, so I'll reply here.

The trophy stand makes for a cool looking figure but too bulky a keychain, and removing the keychain for display only to leave a hole in my figure's head would look awful, so none of those options really sound appealing...

No, there would be no hole in his head. The magnet is hidden. Either that or it's set into the head and is unnoticeable. (I'm working on Pacman right now as a figure!)
