Hackless Demo isn't working(not even trying to start)

Okay, so I installed Project M, put the SD card in the Wii, selected Stage Builder, checked the content of my SD card and sat there like an idiot while nothing happened. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'd just like to add that whenever I looked up a video of somebody booting up Project M, they clicked on Stage Builder and it automatically started on the custom stages SD card menu and went to Gecko OS, but my game always starts off on the Wii Menu.

Fixed it. Forget it.

How did u fix it, im having the same problem, i get everything plugged in then i click stage builder and nothing happenes

Likewise, I've been having this problem too. It did start on the SD Card Stage Menu, and seemed to be trying to load a stage, but nothing happened. Nothing happened when I tried to select the stage, either.

EDIT: Turning off the Wii U and loading Stage Builder a second time fixed it.
