You're Wii Already Softmodded? You Scared to Upgrade to 4.0u? No need no more. I wasn't, I tried it, I like it. Well, you now can Play Wii Ware & Virtual Console on SD card.

Well, I got mine to upgrade to 4.0u with my Homebrew channel still working in all. Just load this, step by step. Make sure you have the necessary IOS already installed. I upgrade from 3.4U to 4.0U. Now playing Over 100 Plus Wii Ware and Virtual Console Games on my Wii.... On my 8GB SD Card.
Here's a link....

Can't you already get SDHC support through homebrew?

SD Card Channel, son! It's useful because the Interal Memory is surprisingly small.
I'm too scared to do this method though...
I don't believe you can although it is possible. I haven't seen a patch that does so.

Anyway, the update is fairly bull****.

A) The update that says it allows direct running of games and channels on the SD card is complete bull****. It really just stores the data on the Wii and when you are done, copies all the information back onto the SD card and deletes its own. This way, you supposedly won't notice but in fact, it makes it so if you have no room on your Wii, you can't run games or channels of your SD card. Just copying the data over and deleting it on the Wii has the same effect as the update.

B) SDHC does not work with most games, including Brawl.
