I was playing Pokemon Battle Revolution for the first time today. And I saw such things as shiny Diagla, and Deoxys on Wifi in my first four battles of playing it on Wifi.
Then I register my hacked pokemon with legitimate stats and moves, and it wont let me use them. How come I cant use hacked pokemon and everyone else can? Has anyone experimented with this?

I just cant believe that. There are actually lots of shinies on Battle Revolution that looked hacked, from my wifi battle experience and youtubes videos of watching some battles. Im sure there is a way around it. And I'll find out.

I was playing at my friends house since he is the one with the wii and the game. It was in english. But the youtube videos I watched was when they were in japanese. The trick is just to get the hacked ones online. Maybe the location and what lvl you met the pokemon need to be accurate? Testing needs to be done.

Didnt anyone get Battle Revolution yet? I thought this topic was going to blow up since the game just came out in America this week. Weird...

i've been dying to get into battle revolution, but i haven't for good reasons.

One. The wii that i spent 13hours in line outside of a best buy for on the day it came out is in florida right now with my family. I am in Massachusetts. That is a problem.

Two. I am broke. I have enough money for it, but i lent it all to my dad. Hence, i am broke.

But when i do get on, you should gimme your friend code and whatnot. i dunno if the one on your TC is for DP or PBR.

as for the hack issue, i did see a whole hell of a lot of shiny pokemon on PBR youtube vids, so i agree with you. and as for the no shiny/reset policy, i calculated how long it takes to do that (cause i was trying to get me a shiny lil black rayquaza). since the odds of finding a shiny pokemon is 1 out of 8192 and all. you figure that you'll be able to start up the game, and assuming you saved it right before that rayquaza, you can start and reset the game about two to three times a minute. 8192 divided by those two to three times a minute is still 2760 minutes, and that is at the optimistic average of three per minute. 2760 minutes divided by 60 minutes is around 46 hours, and that's assuming you do it straight...no eating, no sleeping, bathroom breaks, nothing. then again, you could get lucky and get it on the third reset. those are just the odds.

Nice team BTW.

I know how it works...

PBR looks at your pokemon's location and the level it was caught at. If they don't match up with a place and level they can be found at, it is labeled as a hack and can't be used. You either have to change you're Pokemon's location and level, or recatch them in a more believable place. I always use my GBA AR, because Pal park will just give you a region, not a location, and the level it of transfer, not level it was caught at...

although the aforementioned method by Kratos is really smart, and i've seen it work before, the only problem with it is the obvious one: you can't hack 4th gen pokemon from a 3rd gen game. It still won't solve that shiny Dialga dillema. =)

I made sure to make them believeable. For most of them I put "caught at Pal Park" when I really didnt cause they are hacked. And I put the info for what level they were caught at "lvl 100 caught at Pal Park." I'll have to test it out tomorrow at my friends house since I dont have the wii or the game. For the ones I did enter into PBR, they were from the Mystery Zone, so maybe thats how it determined that they were hacked. You dont get Umbreon's from the mystery zone, so I'll probably have to change that I got it from Pal Park.

Ive been using the program Pokesav for the game data entries.

maybe you can only play with ahcked pokemon when you're battling with a Freind, hey, CC Maybe when you get the chance, you can test this out on me, PM me so I we can exchange freind codes when you can battle on wifi.

Change caught at "pal park" to "Kanto" region... and make it seem like it arrived from a 3rd gen game at that level... for anything that is 4th gen you jsut have to research what level and location you can find them at...on either version...

How do you do that?

I have a bunch of Pokemon on Diamond that are not in a believable location (ie Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, and Darkrai being caught outside Twinleaf)

lol. i have a shiny dialga and it is not hacked. at some point on serebii forums, i remember that there was a differnt channel of shiny users like me who cloned and started a huge mass trade of shinies so everyone had a copy of each shiny.

i can even use my dialga online
