Hey guys, Twister and I are ready to set up the next "SoD" tournament but we need some help getting the details together.

We need your suggestion for:

Date of the tourney: It would have to be either a Thursday or Sunday and we were trying not to conflict with Impact Clash

Should we do Melee, Brawl, or both: We know a lot dislike Brawl but you do have some that love it...

Should the entry be $10 or $20 for singles: With it being close to the holidays and with the current gas prices and whatever else we know money may be tight.


Any and all feedback we be great...Thanks in advance!!!!

Are you talking about, it HAS to be the week that Impact Clash is?

You'll get a lot higher turnout if you postpone it till later.

No we are planning after Impact Clash...but not sure how soon after. Should we go for the first weekend of November or somewhere near Thanksgiving since most will be out of school (college and high school).

that's 8 votes for melee and 2 votes for brawl.


if you did do both melee and brawl it would HAVE to be a 2 day event. melee singles takes a while to end and brawl takes forever and a day to end. So unless you wanna start the tournament at 5 am and end it at midnight, then melee it is.

Lol. Well, I did finally decide to start playing some Melee. I'm quite a few years behind, so I'm kicking it in overdrive with the training. I play Melee Falco, and I hope to be able to compete at a waba monthly by December 08

Melee's a fun game, but not if you have slow fingers like me. Lack of buffering system is killing me :[

I mean, you LIVE in the state with arguably the best Ganon main in the world.

And I've seen Chaddd **** all the best Falcos (except Chops) in tournament matches and friendlies.
(Not implying he won the sets, but MATCHES)
