If the gamers never whined, games would never improve.

This roster is okay, and ROB is somewhat forgivable (because, thank God, he's not a clone. He's an original character), but the clones not being fixed are just inexcusable after 2 years of development. Really. I'm still buying Brawl. The game is still worth $50 and great, but it really is inexcusable the way the clone roster turned out. You have to admit that. And the fact that this game might be the last Smash we get, you really have to see from the disappointed gamers' point of view about this. The levels? Awesome. Story mode? Awesome. Items? Awesome. Gimmicks? Awesome. Game modes? Awesome. However, the most important aspect of the game, the roster, especially clone-wise, is meh. That's not good.

Be thankful you had people to whine for Brawl, or you might not have gotten Sonic.

True... I don't disrespect the whiners...only if they say something stupid... :p

Honestly, the Fox clones did bother me... When I saw some of the videos, I noticed that they do appear to play differently... The Ness supporters, however, shouldn't have much to complain about... Seriously, most of them made the whole "Luigified" claim as support for their character in the first place... It would just seem contradictory, IMO... :/

Personally, it's not enough in my opinion. They just took Fox's moveset, and edited the speed/strength, and gave it to Wolf and Falco. They have different animations in their smash attacks, but I still wish Sakurai had changed their special moves/final smash.

Ness and Lucas are hideously similar. Except for PK Flash, there's barely enough difference to make it important at all to choose between Lucas and Ness.

Once again, just me.
Hopefully, Sakurai will listen next time.

If we can download stages, hopefully he can allow downloadable characters too.

There is a very good thread in the Wolf discussion boards that basically proves Wolf is not a clone. Falco one can argue is a semi-clone. That leaves Lucas and Toon Link. That's actually not too many games. The people who argue that time would have been better spent making new characters have to realize that 35 characters, minus two or three clone characters, still makes 32-33 characters. That's a lot. More than any other Smash game. Lots of variety here...

sakurai said that this would be his last, but he said the same about melee if i recall correctly. and if someone besides sakurai develops a new one, hopefully they wont massacre his work.

*EDIT* to post above, its funny u dont even mention ganondorf. hes the biggest wtf still a clone character, cuz there's just no point. also, is ganondorfs final smash turning into ganon or using his sword? ive heard people say both.
