Guys I need some serious IRL help!

"Tekkon Kinkreet". Do I read the book first so that the movie doesn't spoil the overall plot and its twists, or do I watch the movie first that way I'm not sitting through it saying "Oh well the book is 1000x better and this movie sucks!"?

It depends on what you're really like as far as that. Movie-book situations are tricky. There are times when a movie might touch on things a book doesn't. Although...usually it's vice-versa.

I'd say book first. I sometimes tend to not read it if I've seen it already. Unless it's just that darn good.

It's a 50-50 mix-up. *points upwards* book.
