When on a moving platform (like Smashville) you can shield drop a grenade and it'll bounce behind or in front of you depending on the platform's movement (it goes the opposite way of the platform). This means you can place it on the other part of the platform to cover space, or you can do it on the edge of the platform so it bounces off. Really situational, probably not very handy, but hey, it could lead to cool stuff.
