Is the time from when you pull the pin 3 or 5 seconds till boom? just curious.

Yeah I've tested this and it takes about 5 seconds for the grenade to cook. Strategy wise you should probably throw it at about 3 or 4 seconds depending on your opponents distance from you.

Use a Timer next time.

3.2 seconds. And by a second, I mean as measured by a stopwatch.
