Grand Finals videos from Wichita Bi-Weekly Tournament

Hello, Snakes:

I made it to the Grand Finals in the winner's bracket in Singles and in the loser's bracket in Doubles at Wichita's Bi-weekly tournament last weekend. I had to fight a good Metaknight and just got edged out. Any critique and advice on fighting Metaknight will be appreciated (I think Ill be seeing a lot of them).

I didn't win, but the tournament was a lot of fun and there were a lot of laugh out loud moments in my matches. I blew up so many people with C4 that it started to become a running gag. So much swearing, laughing and hollering from me, my opponents and the spectators whenever I blew up a victim. (For a truly epic C4 check out the last 15 seconds of the Doubles Video 2). i like ur snake but i felt that you need to work on those "CQC" skills. rarely saw any n-airs, usually u can catch a metaknight out his glide attack with that. at the end your 'nading became predictable. would like to see some d-tilts as well for spacing. and for any nado whoring, snakes have the luxury of tilting to cancel it as well as nades. to me the problem with most snakes, is they just follow these set playstyles. the beauty of snake, is that he is able to pressure from afar, approach in an instant, and mind game like nobodies business. Plus the guy kills like a behemoth. the point is (sorry for being circumlocutious) that when ur set ups arent working, a good snake should be able to strategize on the spot. you have all the tools you need. just use them right. its all about pressuring the opponent to make a mistake, and you can do it across the whole **** stage. its great being a son of liberty isnt it?

Thanks everyone. I've tried to study my gameplay from this videos and made some goals for myself.

1) Stop finishing my strings if they're being blocked...
2) Mix up my defense more, I block more than spot dodge and roll. I get grabbed a lot.
3) Work more aerials into my game.
4) Strengthen my throwing game.

Not just "throwing" so to speak work more on GP (grenade placement).
