Smash Lord
I know there is a thread for this in general discussion, but I feel it should be mentioned here as well, considering how influential and inspirational he has been to us.
I never met Sean B, or Forward as he's better known. And I think now I never will. I don't know enough to write a biography. I can't tell you what he's like in person, or what he even looks like. But for many of us, that never really mattered.
I know that Forward played an exquisite Falco, and is highly respected in the smash community for his innovations and talents. His Falco inspired many of us to take up our beloved bird and fly us on to victory. From what I saw on these boards, he's an extremely intelligent player, and was working on a level that most of us can never hope to even come close to. Forwards amazing play style captured me personally, and I slowly work to emulate it.
I don't know the exact details of his retirement from smash, whether it means no more friendlies, or even if it means no more visiting these boards. Like I said, I'll leave the biography to some one better suited for it. What I do ask, is someone close to him is this: From the countless Falco players out there, and the entire smash community, pass on our deepest thanks for inspiring us to perform better, and bestow upon him our greatest wishes in all his endeavors.
From a fan you'll never know, Good luck Sean.
