There's actually an entire thread discussing each legal stage and how they fit into Shulk's gameplay, and I think that will have some of the answers that you need! It's not advised to say that there's a single list of good and bad stages for Shulk since you have to consider the MU you are facing-- Shulk may perform excellently on FD against one character, but then have a really rough time on FD against another.
