hey guys i play fox, falco, and a little wolf and i was wondering who would compliment these character? I love putting people under pressure which is why i play theses characters but some characters give me trouble (mewtwo, zelda, pit) who would you recommend as a secondary to a very aggressive oriented player?

Another spacie. You have a frame 1 attack that combos into kills and gimps and some of the least dedicated movement in the game. You're losing more to the player than to their character, so approach the problem in that regard. Adapt, or at the least, do your best to adapt and change how you engage in the matchup. You're not going to find a better character to deal with several matchups simultaniously than Fox or Wolf.

Specifically, Marth works well against Zelda if your space furries get taken away from their larger stages, but that's one character that works in specific stages against a specific character. Otherwise they do just fine against her on their own.

Lucario for different shield pressure play, Link if you're trying to play a different type of aggression (projectiles, patient and wait for openings). But really you can't just approach every matchup with hyper aggression.

I think the only project M character that has better match-ups than fox is Mewtwo. So learn that.

Really, you don't need a secondary as a spacie because you don't have any disadvantageous matchups. If you have problems with certain characters, learn that character so you can mirror.

Yo guys ep1c_marf has a new main like every other week. He was maining MK the other day. Mewtwo a while back. Falco before that. He's mained everyone BUT Marth. Not very epic lololol.

That being said, how bout you "main" Pit?

Fix that grammar first. JK just messin' around. But really though. Try Pit. Very easy to learn, huge rewards.

Marth, DK, Samus, Zelda, Ike I feel would cover a lot of spacie's bad matchups.

i haz terrible grammar. lol but ya i do play a different character every other week. the thing with me is i dont want to put time into a character that I find out isn't viable later down the road. I have tired pit and he is really solid

You're worrying about characters becoming non-viable in a game mod that attempts to make every character viable? smh

I'll be a unique snowflake and suggest Roy. Also pretty aggro, has a decent matchup on Mewtwo and does well against Zelda. And it's unlikely he'll get nerfed!

Against Zelda, I've found Squirtle to be efficient with his armour and mobility.

Other than that, I used to be a Falco player but then I chose Roy because he feels similar in terms of physics.

I wouldn't say Pit has no negative match ups; he struggles a lot vs Mewtwo, Mario and to an extent, Samus.

Pit does pretty well against Zelda and even Pit himself, but he struggles against Mewtwo even more so than Fox does.
Honestly, the only 3 characters a Fox main should fear are Mewtwo, Samus, and Pikachu. Against everyone else, Fox has the tools to deal with them, and TBH, most Samus/Pikachu mains aren't going to be THAT bothersome (unless you fight ESAM on the daily lol), so you'd probably be fine with learning the MU against Mewtwo. If you're so dead set on having a secondary, Link, Tink, and Roy are all fairly decent against Mewtwo, Zelda, and Pit. Good luck =]
