Good options for spacing/neutral?

What moves should Jr. approach with? Fair autocancels, but has some startup and the stronger hitbox only hits taller characters. F-tilt has some endlag on it, as does d-tilt. D-air is also lagy; jab is practically his least reliable move. Mechakoopa can easily be thrown back in your face, while the cannon is avoidable. So what moves are best for neutral game?

I usually space out fairs while fading back or full hop Mk if they attempt to dash in. Turbo dash jump cancels to fake them out. And SH Bair to retreat.

Then I go in with a side B to punish their landing or a whiff. SH > air dodge > Nair/fair/dair is also a sneaky way to go in.
