I was daring and ate it knowing that it kills 1 in 1000. or something like that.

I think Eel is the weirdest thing I've eaten. I didn't like it, but it was free, so *shrug* I've also had alligator.

Squid's probably the strangest I've done. I know my rents have had sheep brains once, but for some reason I couldn't be persuaded to try em. Can't think why ;)

I was hoping this was going to be a thread about Alton Brown's TV show of the same name.
I'm glad I'm not the only one(though then it would have been in media metropolis or whatever). I've only seen the show a couple times, but my boyfriend has a huge gay crush on Alton Brown. Not to threadjack, but we get to meet him in NY at the end of March =D

Oh, and to be on topic, I've had escargot(snails)also, but that's not really considered weird by many people. It was delicious, btw.

- Sparrow.

- Eel.

Whoa, Abalone is pretty expensive. When did you get a chance to eat one of those bad boys?

Shrimps- delicious if cooked right.
It's weird to hear shrimp as an exotic food. Where I come from, shrimp is a perfectly normal, whitebread middle class food, and I think that's the case all over North America.

I guess the weirdest I've had is goat. It wasn't very good, but I think that's just because it was at a terrible restaurant.

I've also had eel and most of the wierd seafood shebang, even though I really don't like seafood. Recently, when we were at a sushi restaurant, two of my friends ate the eyeballs on the shrimp. They said it tasted like one of those small, sour grapes.

I almost made a dirty joke, almost.

And for strange things eaten, let's mention a little sandwich known as the Raspberry Nightmare. My buddy made it.

-Deer Heart
-Marathon Rib Sandwich
-Ostrich Egg
-Squirrel
-Squid
-Shark
-Mussels (I think they're strange)
-One of those suckers with a cricket in it.
