Gonna be in Los Angeles from 6/14 to 6/21, where's the melee?

Hey, I'm gonna be in Los Angeles from 6/14 to 6/21 (attending E3 woot!) and later staying in Ventura county (housing with a friend in Oxnard).

I was wondering if there's any smashfests or melee tournaments going on during that time, or if there's any players near LA or in Ventura county I could meet up with.

I may consider coming up a few days earlier if there's a tournament on the 12th and if there's anyone who can house me for a night or two (E3 is from the 15th to the 17th of June, I'll be in a hotel those days)

FYI I'm not pro or anything, just a Peach/Gannon player from Texas. I've been to OC2 and Genesis. Scene is very limited in Texas so I wanna enjoy the melee scene while I'm in California.

BTW I used to play a lot with Alex19 back when he was living in Texas. Is he anywhere near LA or Ventura?
